Pinaiimbestigahan ni Public Order Committee Chairman Senator Ronald Dela Rosa ang shooting incident sa pagitan ng Philippine National Police at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Ayon sa senador, magsasagawa na ng hearing ang Senado upang mabigyang linaw ang nasabing pangyayari.
“We will conduct a Senate hearing on Tuesday at 10 am regarding the PNP-PDEA incident to shed light and get a clear picture of what happened.”
Dagdag ni Dela Rosa, hindi nagkaroon ng maayos na koordinasyon sa pagitan ng dalawang grupo.
“In my view, there was lack of proper coordination. If indeed there was proper coordination made by both camps, there was negligence in the proper dissemination of that coordination to the operating units.”
Sisiguraduhin ni Dela Rosa na mabubunyag ang katotohanan sa nangyaring insidente. Aanyayahan din ang parehong grupo sa Senado upang magpaliwanag.
“Through our hearing and investigation, we will try to ferret out the truth and give opportunity to all parties involved in this unfortunate incident to explain their side.”
