NGAYON papalapit na ang Yuletide season at panahon ng paglulunsad ng mga mall-wide sale at iba pang promotional sale, hiniling ng Joint Task Force COVID Shield sa mga shopping mall managers at iba pang establisimiyento na makipag-coordinate sa local police para matulungan sa pagpapatupad ng minimum health safety standard protocols.
Ayon kay P/Lt. Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, commander ng JTF COVID Shield, ang magiging papel dito ng mga pulis ay tulungan ang security officers ng malls at iba pang business establishments partikular sa pagsasagawa ng sales at promo events na nakakatawag pansin ng maraming tao.
“The JTF COVID Shield fully support the efforts of our national government all the efforts that would generate more economic activities. We in the JTF COVID Shield have been adjusting our security and health safety measures to strike a balance between the need to revive our economy and in ensuring the protection of our kababayan,” ani Eleazar.
Nauna rito, pinayagan na ng Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of the Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) ang pagdaraos ng mall wide sales at iba pang promotional events of business establishments upang higit pang maisulong ang ekonomiya ng bansa na lubhang naapektuhan ng COVID-19 pandemic
Nilinaw pa the IATF-MEID, ang mga aktibidad na gaya nito ay nananatiling saklaw ng rules and regulations ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
At maging ang Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) ay kumikilos na rin para sa ‘gradual shift’ tungo sa new normal. VERLIN RUIZ
