SUMIPA ang average retail price ng apat na fertilizer grades noong Hulyo ng hanggang 13.54 percent kumpara sa lebel noong nakaraang taon, ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
“The average dealers’ prices of the four fertilizer grades at the national level generally went up in July 2018 compared from their levels in the previous month and in July 2017,” pahayag ng PSA sa monthly report nito na may titulong “Updates on Fertilizer Prices”.
Ang average retail price ng urea noong Hulyo ay umangat naman sa 28-month high na P1,022.66 per 50-kilogram bag, mas mataas ng 13.54 percent sa P900.70 per bag quotation na naitala noong nakaraang taon.
“The country’s monthly average dealers’ price of urea at P1.022.66/sack in July 2018 was higher by 1.28 percent from its level in the previous month,” nakasaad sa report ng PSA.
“Compared with June 2018, the average dealers’ price of urea during the month went up in 13 regions,” dagdag pa nito.
Naobserbahan ng PSA na ang pinakamataas na presyo ng urea ay naitala sa ARMM sa P1,293.33 per bag, habang ang pinakamura ay sa Ilocos Region sa P938.13 per bag.
“Relative to a year ago level, all regions posted higher prices this month,” sabi pa ng PSA.
Samantala, ang average retail price ng complete fertilizer noong Hulyo ay nasa P1,110.25 per bag. Ang fertilizer ay nagkakahalaga ng P1,108.68 per bag noong Hunyo at P1,091.09 per bag noong Hulyo 2017.
“This was higher by 0.14 percent from a month ago level,” anang PSA. “On an annual basis, it likewise, rose by 1.76 percent.”
Ang pinakamataas na presyo ng complete fertilizer ay naitala sa ARMM sa P1,366.67 per bag, habang ang pinakamura ay nairehistro sa SOCCSKSARGEN sa P988.75 per bag.
“The July average retail price of ammosul was pegged at P600.03 per bag, 7.34 percent higher than the P559.02 per bag averag quotation in the same period of 2017. The figure was also 1.21 percent over the P592.88 per bag average price level recorded in June.”
“All regions, except SOCCSKSARGEN and ARMM recorded higher prices in July 2018 than in the previous month,” sabi pa ng PSA.
“The highest price of P887.5 per bag was still noted in ARMM. Meanwhile, the lowest price at P501.44 per bag was registered in Cagayan Valley,” dagdag pa nito.
Ang national average retail price ng ammophos noong Hulyo ay umabot naman sa P938.62 per bag, mas mataas ng 0.90 percent sa P930.21 average quotation sa naunang buwan. Sa annual basis, ang numero ay mas mataas ng 3.84 percent sa P903.90 per bag price level noong Hulyo 2017. JASPER ARCALAS
