PROFESSIONAL SPORTS SUMMIT KASADO NA SA SETYEMBRE

MAGDARAOS ang Games and Amusements Board (GAB) ng Professional Sports Summit sa Setyembre, kung saan inaasahang ibabahagi ng professional sports leagues kung paano nila nakakayanan ang COVID-19 pandemic.

Ito ang ikatlo at huling professional sports summit na isasagawa sa ilalim ng liderato ni GAB chairman Baham Mitra, at muli itong idaraos ‘virtually’.

“It’s going to be my last professional sports summit, and we’re hoping to go out with a bang,” sabi ni Mitra.

“Highlights will be the sharing of information, experiences of the different leagues, on how to cope up with the pandemic,” dagdag pa niya. “’Yung mga precautionary measures nila, all the health protocols they had to go through, the challenges, and all the things that they did to overcome the challenges.”

Nakatakda ang one-day summit sa Setyembre 29.

Plano ni Mitra na itampok ang mabilis na paglago ng esports sa bansa, at sinabing ito ang “fastest growing sport in the Games and Amusements Board, and perhaps the rest of the world.”

Ang tema ng summit ay “Professional Sports Through The Pandemic: The Now and Future Directions.”
