INAPRUBAHAN ng Malacanang ang kahilingan ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) para sa 10-workday lockdown simula ngayong araw makaraang magpositibo sa COVID-19 ang 63 empleyado nito.
Ang administrative offices sa Rizal Memorial Sports Complex sa Manila at ang Philsports Complex sa Pasig City ay kapwa isasailalim sa lockdown para sa disinfection at cleansing.
Nakikipagpulong si PSC Executive Director Atty. Guillermo Iroy, Jr. sa management committee ng PSC kahit holiday at weekends upang masiguro na pinalakas at nasusunod ang health safety protocols ng ahensiya.
“We have reiterated the observance of all safety protocols in place and shall have more stringent measures and sanctions for those discovered not following these rules. It is for their and everyone’s safety. We all have a family to protect,” sabi ni Iroy.
Ang office operations ng PSC ay lilipat sa work-from-home arrangements sa panahon ng lockdown upang matiyak na hindi maaapektuhan ang paghahatid ng serbisyo.
