GAGAMITAN na ng red teaming operations ng Philippine National Police-Administrative Support to COVID-19 Operations Task Force (PNP-ASCOTF) ang paglaban nila sa naturang sakit na mabilis makahawa dahil sa Delta variant.

Ayon kay PNP De­puty Chief for Administration Lt. Gen. Joselito Vera Cruz, siya ring ASCOTF commander na palalakasin nila ang nasabing operasyon alinsunod sa naging kautusan ni PNP Chief Gen. Guil­lermo Eleazar .

Ang red teams ang maglalatag sa istratehiya habang ang blue teams naman ang siyang magpapatupad nito.

Paliwanag nito, bubuo ng guidelines ang pulisya para matiyak na nasusunod ng bawat miyembro ng pulisya ang Minimum Public Health Standard (MPHS).

Layunin nito na makaiwas sila sa sakit at hindi na maulit pa ang nangyari sa Quezon City Police District (QCPD) kung saan 82 personnel sa Station 3 ang nagpositibo sa nakamamatay na virus.

Sinabi pa ni Vera Cruz, dadalasan na ng mga Red Teams ang kanilang inspections upang mapaalalahanan ang mga police personnel na istriktong sumunod sa MPHS.

“Actually, individual responsibility na kasi ‘yung observance of MPHS especially once umuwi ang mga kapulisan natin sa kani-kanilang bahay. In the work place we have red teams which periodically check on their compliance to MPHS,” bahagi ng text message ni Vera Cruz sa media.

Muli namang nilinaw ni Vera Cruz na layunin lamang ng Red teaming ay magkaroon ng check and balance sa compliance sa MPHS ng mga pulis lalo na ang mga naka-deploy sa quarantine control points o checkpoints para masiguro na ligtas sila sa sakit gayundin ang mga makakasalamuhang publiko at sa sisitahing violators.
