NALULUNGKOT si Regine Velasquez sa mga pahayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na direktang kumukuwestiyon sa Diyos.

Regine tweeted last Saturday, July 7, that even if she doesn’t want to meddle with any political issues, she is forced to air her sentiments regarding President Duterte’s strong commentaries about God.

“Hindi ako mahilig makialam sa mga ganito pero Mr. President kuha na po namin na hindi kayo naniniwala kay God.

“Pero marami po sa amin ang naniniwala sa kanya.

Hindi naman po namumulitika si God kaya ‘wag na po natin siyang idamay.”

But Regine further stated that she would still pray for the feisty president.

“But still I pray for you. May GOD bless you and may HE show you the right way to lead our country. In Jesus name I pray…”

Anyway, last Friday, July 6, Pangulong Duterte has cleared the controversial issue.

“By the way, I believe in one Supreme God. I never said I do not believe in God.

I’m not a prognostic and I am not an atheist,” openly declared the President in his speech at the 2018 National Science and Technology Week program that was held at the SMX Davao Convention Center, Davao City.

He added further, “I just happened to be a human being believing in that there is universal mind somewhere, which controls the universe.

Why is there so much agony, and pain, and injustice and all we will never know until maybe God chooses the time for us to know the answer.”

He also added: “And if there is anyone of you there, the noisy ones, who would say that you have been to heaven and talked to God, just one personally, and that He exists, the God that is yours, and if it it’s true, I will step down the presidency tonight.”

CHRISTIAN BABLES HUMINGI NG TAWAD KINA JUN LANA AT PERCI INTALAN

NAG-KISS and make-up na sina Christian Bables at ang directors-producers na  sina Jun Lana at Perci Intalan sa announcement ng 8 entries sa Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) 2018 ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) ngayong Lunes.

Pareho silang may entries sa PPP ngayong taon.

Christian is the lead actor of Chito Rono’s Signal Rock while Jun is the writer/director of Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa Wifi, where Perci’s the movie’s executive producer.

It will be remembered that Christian backed out in November of last year from the TV series Born Beautiful, the TV spin-off of the critically-acclaimed film Die Beautiful (2016) that was directed by Jun.

Christian made a name in this project in his delineation of Barbs, Paolo Ballesteros friend.

He won as best supporting actor at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2016 and was chosen as Gawad Urian 2017 best supporting actor.

In the follow-up TV series project Born Beautiful, si Christian na sana ang bida as Barbs.

But for some unknown reasons, Christian backed out from the project and was replaced by Martin del Rosario.

Dahil dito, nagkaroon nang isyu sa pagitan ni Christian at ng mag-asawang Jun at Perci, lalo pa’t naging talent ng IdeaFirst Company ang aktor.

Anyway, after months of disagreement, finally ay nagkaayos na ang tatlo sa Sequioa Hotel, sa Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

After the event, lumapit si Christian kina Jun at Perci at humingi ng tawad na tinanggap naman ng mag-asawa.

Nagkayakapan sila bilang tanda ng kanilang pagkakaayos.

Na-touched sina Direk Jun at Direk Perci nang umiiyak na lumapit sa kanila si Christian para humingi ng tawad. Para sa dalawa, it was water under the bridge.
