Kinilala ni Lt Joel Madregalejo, hepe ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ng Valenzuela police ang mga suspek na sina Arnel Bataller alyas “Sundalo”, 46-anyos, retired Philippine Army at Joel Casuple alyas “Belok”, 42-anyos ng Modesto St, Brgy. Mapulang Lupa.
Sa report ni SDEU investigator Cpl Pamela Joy Catalla kay Valenzuela police chief Col. Ramchrisen Haveria Jr, dakong ala-1:45 ng madaling araw nang magsagawa ang mga operatiba ng SDEU ng buy bust operation sa inuupahang bahay ni Bataller sa No. 3072 Apartment Building, Unit C2, JB Juan St. Brgy. Ugong.
Nagpanggap na buyer si Cpl Maverick Jake Perez kung saan nagawa nitong makipagtransaksyon sa mga suspek ng P500 halaga ng droga.
Matapos matanggap ang pre-arranged signal mula kay Perez na hudyat na nakabili na siya ng droga ay agad lumapit ang back-up na sina Cpl Isagani Manait at Cpl Robbie Vasquez saka inaresto ang mga suspek.
Nakumpiska sa mga suspek ang humigit-kumulang sa 12 gramo ng shabu na may standard drug price P81,600, buy-bust money, P750 cash, 2 cellphones at 2 coin purse.
Nahaharap ang mga suspek sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. EVELYN GARCIA
