ROBREDO LOSES WOMEN’S VOTES TO BBM; 61% -19%

AS the country and the international community celebrate March as Women’s Month, presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos is showing that he has the trust of women voters over all other bets including lone female bet Leni Robredo based on results of recent surveys conducted by Laylo Research in January and February this year.

According to the survey by Laylo Research conducted in January, Marcos garnered 62 percent preference votes from women as against 19 percent of Robredo, registering a big margin of 43 percent.

Last February, Marcos obtained 61 percent preference from women as against Robredo’s 19 percent or 42 percent margin.

Marcos also topped in voter preference for president by demographics in February including local and economic class, gender and age groups as he scored 55 to 65 percent in all the categories.

Marcos scored 63 percent in urban areas; 62 percent in rural; 54 percent in Class ABC; 66 percent in Class D; and 57 percent in Class E.

The election frontrunner also scored 65 percent preference from male voters; 66 percent from 18-34 years old of age; 66 percent from 35-54 years old in age; and 55 percent from 55+ years old group.

Recent Laylo survey also revealed that Robredo was also dumped hard by her regionmates in Bicol after the survey showed that Marcos is preferred by majority of Bicolanos.

In January, Marcos garnered 51 percent preference votes in Bicol Region as against 33 percent of Robredo, registering a big margin of 18 percent.

Last February, Laylo Research survey had Marcos obtaining 48 percent votes as against Leni’s measly 32 percent or a big difference of 16 percent.

Marcos also topped in all other regions with huge voting populations like NCR with 61percent, in North/Central Luzon with 80 percent, Visayas 53 percent, and Mindanao with 71 percent.

Overall, Marcos is way ahead in Laylo Research survey last February after registering 63 percent preference rating against 17 percent of Robredo.
