And on January 28, his daughters Daisy and Sanya Smith posted at the social media accounts their last tribute to their great dad.

Message ni Daisy sa kanyang Facebook account: “Thank you for everything papa bear ko. Thank you for being the best dad in the world. I know you’re in the best place now, no more pains papa. I will see you in a few days. I love you to the moon and back.”

Sanya Smith posted on Instagram a picture wherein she was embracing her dad.

Pepe was born in Angeles, Pampanga, December 25, 1947. He became a member of the rock band Juan dela Cruz as its lead vocalist and drummer wayback in 1970.

Nakasama niya sa Juan dela Cruz Band ang guitarist at vocalist na si Wally Gonzales at ang bassist at vocalist na si Mike Hanopol.

Some of the songs that he popularized were “Beep Beep,” “Balong Malalim,” “Titser’s Enemy No. 1,” “Himig Natin,” “No Touch,” at “Kahit Anong Mangyari.”
