INIHAYAG ni Russian Ambassador to the Philippine Igor Khovaev na handa ang kanilang bansa na suplayan ang Filipinas ng kinakailangang helicopters.
Ayon sa Russian envoy, may kakayahan ang Russia na magsupply ng kahit anong uri ng helicopter na kailangan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) kabilang ang makabagong Moscow Mi-17 medium twin-turbine transport choppers.
“Russians and Filipinos are working on that. So, I (would) like to remind you that Russia produces the best helicopters in the world,” pahayag pa ni Khovaev sa ginanap na pulong balitaan sa Makati City.
“So, we are ready and I hope we’ll supply Russian helicopters to the Philippines. So, both sides are actively working on that and I’m sure we are on the right track. I believe that in the near future our Philippine partners will use Russian helicopters,” tugon pa ng ambassador
“Ah let me, just small secret, we Russians as any other nation, we have both advantages and disadvantages, merits and demerits, but . . . it is not easy to scare us. We are not afraid in anyway of anyone,” ani Khovaev.
VERLIN RUIZ
