KASALUKUYANG nirerepaso ng administrasyong Duterte ang ‘Build Build Build’ program upang balasahin ang flagship projects sa harap ng pagbibigay ng prayoridad ng pamahalaan sa healthcare infrastructure sa gitna ng COVID-19 pandemic.
“Sa kasalukuyan nire-review natin at nirerepaso natin ang listahan ng ating infrastructure flagship projects sa tulong ng NEDA (National Economic and Development Authority), DOTr (Department of Transportation) at DPWH (Department of Public Works and Highways),” wika ni Presidential Adviser for Flagship Programs and Projects Vince Dizon sa Laging Handa public briefing kahapon.
Si Dizon, president and CEO ng Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), ay nagsisilbi ring deputy chief implementer of the National Task Force against COVID-19.
Ayon kay Dizon, nagpapatuloy ang pagpupulong ng mga kinauukulang ahensiya sa infrastructure projects.
“Malalaman natin sa mga ilang mga araw ano ang magiging priority natin, kung ano ang kailangan pabilisin at ano ang mga kailangan nating palitan lalo na ngayon na dinadaanan itong problema sa COVID-19,” ani Dizon.
“Kailangan nating dagdagan ang mga proyekto para palakasin ang ating healthcare infrastructure.”
Nauna rito ay sinabi ni acting NEDA chief Karl Chua na nananatiling committed ang administrasyong Duterte sa ‘Build Build Build’ program nito.
Ani Dizon, sa sandaling magbigay ng ‘go signal’ ang Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases para ipagpatuloy ang construction works, bibilisan ng gobyerno ang implementasyon ng infrastructure projects habang ipinatutupad ang health standards tulad ng physical distancing at pagsusuot ng protective equipments.
“Uunahin natin ‘yung mga proyekto na pinakamalaki ang impact,” aniya.
