KARAMIHAN sa mga turista na umakyat sa Baguio noong Sabado, Hunyo 12, ay nagmula sa  National Capital Region Plus bubble.

Maraming turista ang namataan sa Burnham Park at Tam-Awan Village.

Batay sa May 17 entry protocols ng Baguio, ang leisure travelers ay kailangang magprisinta ng isang valid government ID at negative RT-PCR/AG/PRC saliva test result, o sumailalim sa antigen (AG) testing sa City Central Triage.

Ayon sa mga tauhan ng Baguio City local government unit, may sapat naman silang test kits para sa mga turista.

Magugunitang niluwagan ng gobyerno ang COVID-related restrictions sa domestic travel sa pagpapahintulot ng leisure trips mula sa NCR Plus sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng  general community quarantine (GCQ) at modified GCQ anuman ang edad mula Hunyo 1 hanggang Hunyo 15.

Inaprubahan din ng national government noong Hunyo 1 ang kahilingan ng Baguio City na payagan ang mga turista sa “Summer Capital” subalit kailangan pa ring mahigpit na sundin ang COVID-19 health policies ng pamahalaan.
