INAASAHANG maitatala ang inflation para sa buwan ng Nobyembre sa 3.3-4.1 percent range, ayon sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
Sinabi ng central bank na ang projected inflation para sa buwan ay 3.7 percent.
Ang pagtaya ay kumpara sa 4.6 percent noong Oktubre at sa 3.3 percent noong Nobyembre 2020.
“Higher electricity and LPG prices along with the uptick in the prices of meat, fish, fruits and vegetables are the primary sources of inflationary pressures for the month,” ayon sa BSP.
“These could be offset partly by rollbacks in domestic petroleum prices and the peso’s appreciation,” dagdag nito.
“Moving forward, the BSP will continue to monitor emerging price developments to help achieve its primary mandate of price stability that is conducive to balanced and sustainable growth of the economy,” ayon pa sa BSP.
