‘SALAMAT SA PAGKAKATAON NA PATULOY NA MAGSERBISYO’ — BONG GO THANKS FILIPINOS FOR UNWAVERING TRUST AS SWS SURVEY SHOWS STRONG RATINGS

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, known for his health reforms crusade and unwavering advocacy for the welfare of Filipinos, expressed his gratitude to the public following consistent top-tier rankings in multiple national senatorial preference surveys for the 2025 elections.

“Lubos akong nagpapasalamat sa bawat Pilipino sa patuloy na tiwala at suporta. Ito ay inspirasyon ko para ipagpatuloy ang malasakit at pagseserbisyo sa bayan,” Senator Go said, emphasizing his motto, “Bisyo ang serbisyo,” which underscores his dedication to public service.

Recent data from the Social Weather Stations (SWS) December 2024 survey show Go tied for the 3rd to 4th spots with a solid 32% voter preference. This is just one among a string of strong performances, as corroborated by various surveys conducted throughout the year.

In the November Pulse Asia survey, Go’s voting preference surged to 54.7%, up from 40.3% in September, while his awareness rating reached an impressive 99%.

The PUBLiCUS Asia Inc.’s PAHAYAG 2024 End-of-the-Year Survey also ranked him as one of the top senatorial contenders in both unaided and aided voting preference categories.

“Ang resulta ng mga survey ay hindi lamang numero para sa akin. Isa itong paalala na marami pa akong kailangang gawin para sa ating mga kababayan,” Go stated. He added that the trust and support of Filipinos inspire him to double his efforts in addressing their most pressing needs.

Senator Go’s legislative accomplishments this year and over recent years have solidified his reputation as a public servant focused on bringing essential services closer to Filipinos, particularly in health, youth, sports, and disaster resilience.

“Ipagpapatuloy ko ang serbisyong may tunay na malasakit. Ang aking kasipagan sa pagseserbisyo na walang pinipiling oras panahon ang isa sa maiaalay ko sa inyo,” Senator Go stated.

So far, Senator Go has authored 16 laws, principally sponsored 80 laws including 78 measures for the establishment or upgrade of public hospitals, and co-authored or co-sponsored 185 other laws.

“Hindi ko po sasayangin ang oportunidad na ibinibigay n’yo sa akin. Uunahin ko ang pagseserbisyo sa mga kapwa ko Pilipino,” Senator Go earlier said.

Go’s legislative agenda centers on health, jobs, and livelihoods, demonstrating his commitment to uplifting the lives of Filipinos, especially the underprivileged. His priorities include improving healthcare access, creating sustainable jobs, and fostering economic resilience through targeted legislation.

Senator Go underscores that health is a basic right and a key to national progress. To strengthen the healthcare system, he continues to monitor the operations of Malasakit Centers and pushes for the construction of Super Health Centers and Regional Specialty Centers.

He supports the full implementation of the Universal Health Care Law, advocating for reforms in the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), such as expanding benefits to include dental and maternity services, reducing premium contributions, and providing free medicines, dentures, and wheelchairs.

Additionally, his proposed Senate Bill No. (SBN) 195 aims to establish the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, while SBN 196 seeks to create the Virology Science and Technology Institute of the Philippines for better management of viral diseases. SBN 427 further focuses on compensating and incentivizing Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), acknowledging their pivotal role in grassroots healthcare.

Senator Go emphasizes the importance of job creation and income security to help Filipinos recover from crises. He proposes SBN 420, the Rural Employment Assistance Program (REAP), to provide temporary employment for displaced workers in rural areas.

Go’s consistent strong standing in surveys reflects his resonance with voters who value accessibility, action, and genuine care. However, the senator remains grounded and focused on his mission.
