PAPAYAGAN nang makapagbukas ang mga barbershop at salon sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng general community quarantine (GCQ) simula Hunyo 7, Linggo.
Ayon kay Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, inaprubahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) ang mas maagang pagbubukas ng mga barbershop at salon dahil sa kanilang mga paghahanda para magpatupad ng health protocols.
“Earlier opening was reconsidered in recognition of the very strict health protocol that was developed and to be adopted before they can be allowed to operate to prevent any risk of Covid-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) transmission, as well as the need to start bringing back the jobs of the estimated 400,000 workers in the industry working in over 35,000 shops,” wika ni Lopez.
Subalit 30% lamang ng kanilang operating capacity ang pahihintulutan habang hanggang 50% naman sa mga barbershop at salon sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).
“Only one of three seats will be allowed first,” ani Lopez sa paglalarawan sa set-up sa 30-percent operation ng barbershops at salons.
Bukod dito, sinabi ni Lopez na tanging haircut at hairstyle ang maaaring ialok sa mga customer.
“Basic lang po, haircut at hairstyling [ang allowed]. Wala muna ‘yung mga iba.”
“Basta haircut and hairstyle lang ang pinag-usapan,” aniya.
Gayunman, sinabi ng kalihim na maaaring payagan ang hair coloring services dahil hindi ito nangangailangan ng sobrang physical contact.
Hindi papayagan ang massage treatment, shaving, shampooing, waxing, threading, manicure, at pedicure dahil nangangailangan ang mga serbisyong ito ng mas matagal na physical contact.
“Less contact the better,” ani Lopez.
“Wala na muna ang iba. ‘Yung basic lang at mabilisan.”
