Ayon kay ERC Chairperson and CEO Agnes Devanadera, inaprubahan ng komisyon ang pagkakaloob sa Meralco ng provisional authority upang kagyat na pakinabangan ng mga customer ang benepisyo ng refund at makapagbigay ng kaluwagan sa mga Meralco customer ngayong panahon ng pandemya.
Binigyang-diin ng ERC na nililimitahan lamang ng kautusan ang halaga ng refund na inaplayan ng Meralco.
Inatasan din ng ERC ang Meralco na ilagay o i-breakdown ito sa hiwalay na line item sa bill ng mga costumer sa loob ng refund period.
Sa residential at general service A, ang refund ay P0.27 kada kilowatthour; general service B – P0.18; general power – P0.07; GHMSI – 0.11; flat streetlight ay P0.28 at generator wheeling, P0.03. EUNICE CELARIO
