PINATITIYAK ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) sa mga bangko at supervised financial institutions nito ang availability ng PESONet at InstaPay customer services sa Holy Week.
Inilabas ng BSP ang abiso bago ang Holy Week break mula Maundy Thursday, March 28, hanggang Easter Sunday, March 31.
“Continuous availability of the online fund transfer services is a requirement in anticipation of the public’s continued use of interoperable digital payment services over the holidays and long weekends,” ayon sa central bank.
“This reminder is likewise in line with the BSP’s broader efforts to promote financial consumer welfare,” sabi pa ng BSP.
Ang PESONet ay isang batch electronic funds transfer service na viable alternative para sa checks at recurring payments, habang ang InstaPay ay isang real-time, low-value digital payments facility na maaaring gamitin para sa kagyat na payment transactions.
