ITINALAGA si Lt. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia bilang officer in charge ng tanggapan ng Deputy Chief for Administration ng Philippine National Police (PNP).
Ito ay makaraang magretiro si Lt. Gen. Jose Chiquito Malayo na sumapit na sa mandatory retirement age na 56 nitong Sabado, Oktubre 1.
Dati nang naitalaga si Sermonia bilang Deputy Chief for Administration sa panahon ni dating PNP chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos noong Marso.
Subalit, nang maupo si PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. nitong Agosto ay itinalaga si Sermonia bilang kumander ng Area Police Command (APC) sa Visayas.
Base sa order ni Azurin, “Sermonia, chief of the Area Police Command (APC) in the Visayas and in addition to his duties and responsibilities, is designated as OIC of the Office of the Deputy Chief of PNP for Administration effective on Sunday (October 2). Such designation shall only take effect until the designation of the new TDCA (The Deputy Chief for Administration).”
