BINALAAN ng Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation ang publiko kaugnay sa bagong phishing scam na ginagamit ang pangalan ng Shell at nag-aalok ng cash prizes kapag nakumpleto nila ang isang online survey.
“Once the users click on these posts, they are taken to a survey form where they are asked to input their personal details to win the alleged cash prize. When the unsuspecting respondent supplies his or her personal information on this fictitious survey form, the scammers will be able to steal personal information,” babala ng Shell.
“Pilipinas Shell values everyone’s safety and security and advised the public to be diligent when clicking on links claiming to be from Shell only uses verified platforms to communicate its offers to the public,” dagdag pa ng kompanya.
