SILANG EAST INTERCHANGE

BUKAS na sa mga motorista ang fourth section ng 45-kilometer Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).

Pinangunahan ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at ng MPCALA Holdings Inc. ang pag-bubukas ng Silang East Interchange Section ng Calax, na nag-e-extend sa operating sections ng toll road mula 10 kilometers sa 14.24 kilometers.

Ang MPCALA ay isang subsidiary ng Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC), isang unit ng Metro Pacific Investments Corp.

Sa pagbubukas ng Silang East ng CALAX, ang mga motorista ay makabibiyahe na ngayon mula Mamplasan sa Biñan, Laguna, hanggang Silang East, palabas sa Tibig Road, sa Silang, Cavite.

Nasa 5,000 motorista ang maseserbisyuhan ng bagong bukas na Silang East Interchange, na makatutulong para mapagaan ang trapiko mula Governor’s Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, at Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road.

Sa sandaling matapos, ang CALAX ay may habang 45-kilometers na may walong interchanges sa Kawit, Governor’s Drive, Open Canal, Silang (Aguinaldo) Highway, Silang East, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay, Laguna Boulevard, at Laguna Technopark.

Nasa 45,000 sasakyan ang makadaraan sa CALAX kung saan mapabibilis ang biyahe sa pagitan ng Cavite at Laguna mula dalawang oras sa wala pang isang oras.

Ang inaugural ceremony ng Silang East Interchange ay pinangunahan ni DPWH Secretary Mark Villar at dinaluhan nina Senator Bong Go, Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla, at Mayor Corazon Poblete ng Silang, Cavite.
