SM FOUNDATION’S LAST QUARTER MEDICAL MISSIONS

SM Foundation continued its medical and dental missions across the country during the last quarter of the year to help ensure the well-being of beneficiaries in communities where SM businesses operate. From October to December, these medical and dental missions were conducted across the country in collaboration with local government units and partner organizations. Like prior SM Foundation medical and dental missions, beneficiaries availed of medical consultations, diagnostics laboratory examinations and dental services. Prescription medicines and vitamins were also given out to the patients at no cost. Volunteer medical professionals were present as well as the SM mobile clinics.

In the NCR, the medical and dental missions were conducted in SM City Sta. Mesa, Manila; Order of Malta, Manila; Philippine Red Cross, Quezon City Chapter; San Juan City-ICA; San Rique Parish Church, Caloocan City; Mason Grand Lodge, Paco Manila; and National University. In Luzon, outside the NCR, medical and dental missions were held in Brgy Bulihan, Nasugbu, Batangas; SM City San Mateo, Rizal; SM Center Angono, Rizal; Brgy Papaya, Nasugbu, Batangas; SM City Daet; Brgy Bitin, Bay, Laguna; PNP CAR Regional Office; and in Poro, San Fernando, La Union. The Diamond Jubilee Hall in Iloilo was venue of medical and dental missions conducted for two successive days while SM CDO Uptown in Misamis Oriental was venue of the activity.
