RECOGNIZING NCov as a serious public concern, SM Supermalls is aware that the best way to prevent Novel coronavirus (2019-ncov) infection is to minimize exposure to this virus.
Recently SM Supermalls deployed its own Sanitation team in every mall to ensure preventive measures is carried out in the most common area frequented by patrons.
DOH strongly recommends everyday preventive actions such as having an alcohol based hand sanitizer with 70% alcohol.
Mr. Hans T. Sy, Chairman of the Executive Committee of SM Prime, issued a directive to give all employees a pocket size alcohol, and the order is currently implemented in all SM Supermalls.
This is to remind everyone to always disinfect their hands after touching frequently touch surfaces like door knobs, light switch, phones, faucets and sink.
SM is cognizant of the need to ensure the safety of their clients and their employees.
The pocket-size alcohol is now distributed to all employees in all SM Malls including SM City Calamba, SM City San Pablo, SM City Batangas, SM City Lipa, SM City Lucena, SM City Naga and SM City Legazpi.
