HALOS 50 kongresista at  local political leaders  na malalapit sa  ‘solid north’ ang nagkatipon-tipon kahapon sa tinawag ni Senador Imee Marcos na ‘pre-SONA’ merienda sa lumang bahay ng senador sa San Juan City, Metro Manila.

Kahit na hindi pa naiaanunsiyo ng  kapatid   ng senadora na si dating Sen. Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. ang  kanyang plano para sa halalan sa  2022, ang nasabing pagtitipon ay binigyang kahulugan ng mga dumalong kongresista na  assessment sa tsansa ni  BBM na manalo sa susunod na halalang pampanguluhan.

Sa 17.8 percent rating, pumangalawa  si BBM  kay  presidential daughter Sara Duterte na nakakuha ng  20.8 percent sa pinakahuling  survey ng  Publicos Asia, Inc. habang pumapangatlo si  Vice President Leni Robredo na nakakuha ng 13.2 percent at si Manila Mayor Isko Moreno sa pang-apat  na puwesto sa  11.3 percent.

“Kung tatakbong presidente, siguradong makukuha ni  BBM ang  block votes ng  ‘solid north’ na nasa ilang mil­yon mula sa mga probinsiya  ng Regions 1 and 2 at ibang bahagi  ng Region 3,”  pahayag ng isang kong­resista  na ayaw magpabanggit ng pangalan.
