Sinabi ni Galvez na nakipag-usap na siya sa SII para sa posibilidad na ibalik ang kakayahan ng bansa na makapag-produce ng sariling bakuna at handa, aniya, ang mahigit 100 scientists ng India na nais tumulong sa bansa para sa sariling COVID-19 vaccine ng Filipinas.
“Tayo po ay nakipag-usap sa SII upang pag-aralan ang posibilidad na ibalik ang kakayahan ng ating bansa na makapag-produce ng sarili nitong bakuna,” ani Galvez sa isang briefing.
“Ang ganda po ng SII. Mayroon silang 136 na scientists at gusto nilang tulungan tayo na tayo ay makapag-produce ng sarili nating bakuna.”
