If I were to choose five celebrities who’s real, humble, friendly and helpful, Teresa Loyzaga will be one of them. I just knew Tong (a term of endearment from her close friends) in February but it seems we’ve been friends for a long time. Teresa doesn’t think she’s a celebrity. She thinks she’s an ordinary person like everyone who has a heart for people. A lot of people conclude na maraming plastic sa showbiz but Teresa is definitely one of the few exceptions.
The pandemic did not give her negative thoughts as she has become more productive. Because everyone is encouraged to stay home, she was able to achieve Self time and Family time.
“I had more time for self- love. Between yoga and my hobbies such as gardening and painting… also cooking and baking. These are some of the things that have kept me busy”, Teresa quipped. Not only that, my painting skills have surprised me. I am far from “expert”, but I have my own style. I like it.”
While others have become “jobless” because of the pandemic, Teresa is currently in the cast of GMA 7’s High Rise Lovers and will soon get a new show on Net 25. She just finished shooting her scenes in “And I Love Her”, the film which I directed and also stars Ron Macapagal, Faye Tangonan, Rez Cortez, Richard Quan, Neil Perez, Marlon Marcia, Keanna Reeves and a lot more. I am also cooking a potential award-winning film with her as lead star which I will field next year in international film festival. If Jacklyn Jose was noticed in Cannes via “Ma’Rosa”, I will make sure Teresa Loyzaga will be noticed in international film festivals in “And Ina Mo”.
