Ito ang tahasang sinabi muli ni Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) chief Atty. Persida Acosta kasunod ng pagkaladkad sa kanyang pangalan sa mga text scam kamakailan.
Mariing nanawagan si Acosta sa mga nasa likod ng isang text scam na ginagamit ang kanyang pangalan at nagsasabi na ang isang indibidwal na pinadalhan ng text message ay nanalo ng P400.000.
Ayon sa impormasyon, si Acosta diumano ay nagpapadala ng message na pinalalabas na may nanalo at pinadalhan ng P400,000 mula kay Sen. Manny Pacquiao at upang makapag-claim ay hinihingi nila ang pangalan, edad, address, at trabaho ng pinadalhan ng mensahe.
Sa ginanap na virtual press conference sa PAO, nanawagan si Acosta at nilinaw nito na ang Punong Manananggol Pambayan o (PAO) ay hindi kailanman nagpapadala at magpapalabas ng ganitong uri ng mensahe sa kahit kanino.
“Ang inyo pong (PAO) Chief ay nagsisilbi sa taumbayan at hindi para kung kanino,” saad pa ni Acosta.
Babala pa ni Acosta sa mga gumagamit ng kanyang pangalan at nagpapanggap na siya, tigilan na ang ganitong panloloko sa taumbayan, dahil mananagot , una sa Diyos at sa batas kapag sila ay nahuli.
“Hindi lahat ng araw ay makapanloloko kayo ng mga inosenteng indibidwal. Mayroong batas na uusig sa inyong mga ginagawang kalokohan,” dagdag pa ni Acosta.BENEDICT ABAYGAR, JR.
