Just look at this, former TNT finalist Mirriam Manalo  is now one of the grand finalists of GMA7’s The Clash.

Looking back, marami na raw sinalihang singing contest si Miriam bago siya sumali sa The Clash, Tawag ng Tanghalan at The Voice, just to mention a few.

Sa GMA naman, she did join Search for a Star and Pinoy Pop Superstar when she was very, very young.

But she did not win as a daily winner.

When she joined Tawag ng Tanghalan, the Fierce Diva recalled na parang dalawang beses lang yata siyang pumunta roon, ‘yung rehearsal lang with the band at saka ‘yung competition lang talaga.

Mirriam spoke to the press at the grand media launch of The Clash Top 12 Clashers last August 29 at the Executive Lounge of GMA Network Center, Quezon City.

The Clash, which is being hosted by Regine Velasquez, airs every Saturday and Sunday on GMA7’s weekend primetime block.

This Sunday, another set of Clashers will battle it out on The Clash Arena to fight for a spot in the Top 8.

Unfortunately, 1 Clasher will not be able to perform this week due to unexpected illness. Will this Clasher continue to compete next round or will this Clasher be automatically eliminated? Find out what will happen to this Clasher’s journey in the show.

Join Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and the Clash panel, Aiai Delas Alas, Christian Bautista and Lani Misalucha on another nail-biting episode every Sunday on The Clash, Isa Laban sa Lahat! After Daig Kayo Ng Lola  Ko, on GMA7!

SINO SI ESCORT GREG HAWKINS NG IT’S SHOWTIME?

GREG HAWKINSKUNG meron mang segment na patok na patok sa televiewers, ito’y ang supposed “love triangle” of Vice Ganda, Ate Girl Jackque Gonzaga, and Kuya Escort Greg Hawkins at the “Miss Q & A” segment of  It’s Showtime.

Anyway, by virtue of her exposure at It’s Showtime, Greg’s following have considerably mushroomed.

He understands and can speak Tagalog but Greg is not Filipino.

He’s half-American and half-Korean.

He learned the Filipino language by virtue of his being a missionary at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the  Philippines since 2016.

As a Mormon missionary, he would travel all over the Philippines to be able to convince to join their ministry.

His discoverer happens to be Lito de Guzman. Incidentally, Greg stands 5’10” and is only 25 years old.

Sang-ayon sa kanyang discoverer na si Lito de Guzman, graduate daw si Greg ng management major in accounting and he doesn’t have a Filipino blood. Nang matapos naman daw ang missionary work nito in our country, he went back to the States but Lito told him to come back to the Philippines if he wants to become an actor.

It took him one year and a half to decide and come back to the Philippines last December 19, 2017. He was first seen at the audience gallery of Gandang Gabi Vice.

After which, he was taken as an escort of Orville Tonido at the Pilipinas Got Talent.

Lito asked him to audition for It’s Showtime and he passed with flying colors.

It’s Showtime for the big break that they’ve given to Greg.

When Greg came back to our country, Lito was given a new hope.

Another chance, another break.”

And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity. Adios. Mabalos. I always need you Nhong!
