THRILLER IN OCTOBER

THRILLER

Fun this is what we all wanted to have. But fun is more fun if it is done with a purpose. Celebrate Halloween with a purpose with that 80s throwback pop feel with all the Michael Jackson performers, fans, and audience this coming October 26, at the Resorts World Manila in its New Port Plaza.

Enjoy the electrifying fusion of acrobatics, dance, and visuals with Michael Jackson’s fanatic fans and impersonators like Master Jericho, the Bratboys, and the newly formed girl group called Girlfriends. See  the once the lovable kid on Eat Bulaga’s stage who have now become a lovable oppa behind the scene as the floor director of the longest running noon time show in the Philippines, Staeven Claude aka “Goyong”. Actor-singer Lance Raymundo would thrill the audience with his serenades.  And of course,   everyone’s favorite pop, dance, and soul singer, the blackbird of R & B, Mr. Luke Mejares who admittedly have been looking up to Michael Jackson’s fabulous songs and performances since he was a kid.

The show would be more fun because it is for the benefit of Cuts Against Cancer, a foundation that gathers untreated hairs and weave it into wigs for children and women who lost their crowning glory from the effect of chemotherapy. For those who would want to donate hair, Cuts Against Cancer collects untreated hair minimum of 12 inches or longer. Please be mindful that it should be untreated hair meaning hair is natural, not rebonded, keratin-treated or colored. Why treated hair is a no-no? Because treated hair easily breaks when weaved and the happiness of the kids who have been given another crowning glory would be cut short and would only add frustration to them in the end.

How to cut your hair to donate it? Before cutting your long hair, tie it together then cut above the ponytail, and put it in a ziplock. If you already have set aside untreated hair 12 inches or longer and thought of donating it and do not know where and how, this  October 26, Friday at the New Port Plaza of Resorts World Manila you have an opportunity to do so. A table at the Thriller in October, produced by Multi-Media Service Cooperative with the help of Resorts World Manila and Panasonic Philippines, awaits for those who wanted to drop their hair donation for Cuts Against Cancer.
