MAGSISILBI si Cavite Rep. Abraham Tolentino ng panibagong termino bilang presidente ng Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) makaraang magwagi sa eleksiyon kahapon.
Tinalo ni Tolentino, head ng Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines, si World Archery Philippines chief Clint Arañas, 30-22.
Nanalo naman si Philippine Bowling Federation’s Stephen Hontiveros bilang POC chairman laban kay Tom Carrasco ng Triathlon Association of the Philippines, 28-25.
Si basketball head Al Panlilio ang nahalal na POC first vice president makaraang makalikom ng 30 votes laban kay Philip Juico ng athletics na may 23 votes, habang si Richard Gomez ng fencing ang second vice president makaraang talunin si Ada Milby ng rugby.
Nahalal si Chito Loyzaga ng baseball bilang auditor, habang si Cynthia Carrion ng gymnastics ang treasurer.
Ang elected executive board members ay sina iDavid Carter (judo), Charlie Ho (netball) Pearl Managuelod (muay thai), at Raul Canlas (surfing).
Ang kanilang four-year term ay magsisimula sa January 1, 2021.
