Ito ang sinabi ni Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary at Spokesperson Jonathan Malaya, matapos na payagan na ng inter-agency task force (IATF) on COVID-19 ang leisure travel mula sa NCR Plus areas, na kinabibilangan ng Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, at Laguna, patungo sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim na ng modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).
Ayon kay Malaya, ang kailangan na lamang gawin ng mga biyahero ay alamin ang travel requirements o mga guidelines ng local government unit (LGU) kung saan sila pupunta.
“Siyempre naalala ng ating mga kababayan ‘yung proseso last year na meron pang mga travel pass. Ngayon po, wala nang mga travel pass requirement,” pahayag ni Malaya sa Laging Handa press briefing.
“Ang kailangan na lang po alamin ng ating mga kababayan ay kung ano ‘yung pamantayan ng LGU na inyong pupuntahan,” dagdag pa ng tagapagsalita ng DILG. EVELYN GARCIA
