“If you quit, you will not succeed” Mrs. Nerissa Limbo hold on to this belief after she realized that closing her business was not the right thing to do. Mrs. Limbo was in the verge of closing her business when the conflict with her husband was getting worst. There came a time that they are incapable to provide the orders due to financial problem.
Mrs. Nerissa Limbo is an owner of a footwear manufacturing business in Liliw, Laguna. Her family entered this kind of business due to their business location which is Liliw, Laguna. Liliw is the footwear capital of Laguna.
Mrs. Limbo was invited by the Barangay Chairman of the Ilayang Taykin in Liliw, Laguna to attend the Seminar on Entrepreneurial Mindsetting during the Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay. She showed her willingness to attend the said seminar due to the fact that she needs help for her business.
On March 18, 2019, Mrs. Limbo attended the seminar facilitated by the Negosyo Center Business Counselor. She learned that every business must be registered and the Department of Trade and Industry will be a great help for her to improve her business. She attentively listened to every lesson that the mentor was giving them. After the seminar, she immediately registered her business under the name “Treadline Footwear”. She also showed interest in the P3 Loan Program.
Last March 24, 2019, Mrs. Limbo visited Negosyo Center Liliw to register her business under the BMBE Program. She told the Negosyo Center Business Counselor that she already removed the thoughts of closing her business. She wanted her business to grow. She is looking forward that “Treadline Footwear” will be the number one footwear manufacturing in Liliw, Laguna.
