UST – AMB. ANTONIO L. CABANGON CHUA RESEARCH AWARD FOR THE HUMANITIES

Research Award

Antonio L. Cabangon Chua Research Award for the Humanities bilang karangalan sa kanilang ama. Naisakatuparan ito sa pamamagitan ng signing of a memorandum of agreement sa pagitan ng University at ang UST Research at Endowment Foundation, Inc. (UST REFI).

“I know that our father is smiling right now because we are continuing his noble legacy of supporting and honoring our Filipino artists,” wika ng anak at ALC Group of Companies chairman D. Edgard A. Cabangon, na siyang nanguna sa nasabing research award. “It is also opportune that we are having this program with UST because our father was also very close to the Church.”

Pinirmahan ni Father Rector, Rev. Fr. Herminio V. Dagohoy, OP, ang agreement para sa Unibersidad habang ang Director of the Office for Grants, Endowments and Partnerships in Higher Education, Rev. Fr. Jesus M. Miranda, Jr., OP. ang siyang naging kinatawan ng UST REFI.

“Today, in this signing of the memorandum of agreement between the University of Santo Tomas and the ALC Group of Companies, we are not only supporting, but also celebrating the Humanities,” wika ni Father Rector. “This partnership will push forth the Arts’ noble mission.”

Dumalo rin sa nasabing event sina Ms. Sharon Tan; BusinessMirror and Philippines Graphic publisher T. Anthony C. Cabangon; ALC Realty Corp. and ALC Industrial and Commercial Development Corp. president D. Edward A. Cabangon; at Philippines Graphic Editor- in-Chief Joel Pablo Salud.
