“Australia has the utmost respect and admiration for the crucial work of the PCG and the dedication of its officers. Earlier this year, my officials had discussions with PCG Palawan personnel to hear firsthand the issues they are facing, and what further support Australia could provide to assist their work,” ayon sa ambassador.

Kumatawan naman sa Australian Government si Secretary of Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Ms Jan Adams AO PSM, at Ambassador Yu.

Ang donasyong equipment ay bahagi ng Australia’s P328 million civil maritime cooperation sa Pilipinas na kasama ng vessel remediation, aerial drones, postgraduate scholarships, operational training, at annual Law of the Sea courses.
