WINWYN MARQUEZ ‘DI NA SASALI SA BB. PILIPINAS

PAGKATAPOS ng pagmumuni-muni, nagsalita na rin sa wakas si Winwyn Marquez sa kanyang desisyon tungkol sa pagsali niya sa Bb. Pilipinas ngayong taon.

Marami kasi ang nagpu-push sa kanya na sumali sa nasabing pageant lalo na ang dating Ms. Universe na si Pia Wurtzbach na bilib sa kakayahan niya.

Ito ang naging opisyal na pahayag niya tungkol sa kanyang desisyon, na huwag nang sumali sa nasabing pageant ngayong taon.

“Thank you so much to everyone who shared their kind words and comments these past few months. I’ve read all your messages and comments. I’m so humbled by your thoughts and words of encouragement in joining this pageant season. Sobrang nakakataba po ng puso but, due to my work commitments and upcoming projects with my current network, I will not be able to join BBP since I have an existing contract and projects lined up. Due to the nature of the competition, BBP has strict rules that you cannot have existing contracts when joining,” paliwanag niya.

“There will always be a part of me that wants to compete in the pageant setting at masakit din sa akin na hindi ako makakasali pero alam ko na hindi puwedeng sabay-sabay ang lahat ng bagay. Kailangan mag-focus lang po sa isa to be able to succeed and do things well.

“I’ve given this much thought and careful consideration especially since when I focus on something, I commit 101% to it. So for this reason, I’ve decided to focus on the next phase of my career/journey. I’ve been very fortunate to share my passion for competing in the pageant world and represent our country in the best way I can. I am so grateful to contribute in bringing home a crown since that’s not an easy thing to do.

“Importante sa akin na naipakita natin ang talento at KAKAYAHAN ng FILIPINO on the world stage. I will never forget my experience as the first Filipino Reina Hispanoamericana and for the lifelong friendships I’ve made along the way,” dugtong niya.

Hirit pa niya, gusto muna niyang magpokus sa kanyang craft bilang actress.

“Now, I would like to focus on improving my craft and to continue building on my community engagement program for children in local communities. I’ll share more of this soon. We will never know kung ano pa ang puwedeng mangyari sa future but I do believe that God will always lead us to the best parts of our life. Di ba?,” pagtatapos niya.
