ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA HIGH RISK PA RIN SA COVID-19

ANG  Zamboanga Peninsula na lamang ang nag-iisang rehiyon sa bansa na nananatiling high risk pa rin sa COVID-19.

Ito ang iniulat ni Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire sa isang virtual media forum kahapon.

“Most regions are showing negative two-week growth rates. However, majority remain with high-risk average daily attack rates (ADAR),” ayon kay Vergeire.

“Region 9 is the sole region with high-risk case classification,” aniya pa.

Batay sa datos, nabatid na ang Zamboanga Peninsula ay mayroon pang 3,099 active COVID-19 cases.

Ang kasalukuyang ADAR nito per 100,000 population ay tumaas pa sa 9.24 mula sa dating 9.23 noong Oktubre 3.

Samantala, hanggang nitong Oktubre 16, ang hospital bed utilization sa rehiyon ay nasa 70.29% habang ang utilization rate ng mechanical ventilators ay nasa 61.11% at 54.02% naman ang intensive care units (ICU) utilization rate.

Nabatid na sa kabuuan, ang Pilipinas ay nasa ilalim na ngayon ng moderate risk classification.

Nasa moderate rin naman ang risk classification ng mga rehiyon ng National Capital Region (NCR), Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR), at Regions 2, 1, 4B, 11, at 4A.

Nasa low risk classification naman ang CARAGA gayundin ang Regions 3, 6, 5, 12, 7, 10, at 8 at Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). Ana Rosario Hernandez
