8 NURSES IDINEPLOY SA LUNG CENTER

NAG-DEPLOY ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ng WALONG nurse upang mapalakas ang healthcare workforce ng Lung Center of the Philippines sa gitna ng pakikipaglaban  sa COVID-19.

Pinangunahan ni AFP Surgeon General ng Col. Fatima Claire Navarro ang send-off ceremony ng Nurse Corps Officers sa naturang ospital.

“We are all equally affected by the impact of the pandemic but in situations when our fellow healthcare workers are feeling low, a friend or even a stranger who will extend sincere help expecting nothing in return, may be the beacon of hope,” saad ni Navarro.

Sasailalim sa isang buwang deployment ang dalawang team mula sa AFP Nurse Corps.

Sa unang  batch  ay kabilang ang  isang all-reservists team na sina 2nd Lieutenant Fede­rico Muyco, 2LT Joey Caba­luna at 2LT Laviña         Augusto.

Sa  ikalawang team ay sina 1st Lieutenant Fernando Velarde, 2LT Raul Ramos, 2LT Abner Andamon, P2LT Chrissen Valmonte, at P2LT Leslie Ann Muñez.

Tiniyak ng AFP na lahat ng Nurse Corps Officers ay sumalang sa RT-PCR testing at negatibo sa nakahahawang sakit bago ang kanilang deployment. V RUIZ
