NANAWAGAN si Quezon City Rep. Alfred Vargas sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na gawin nang buwanan ang pagbibigay ng pensiyon sa mga senior citizen.

Ang apela na itratong parang ‘payroll’  ang pensiyon ng mga lolo at lola ay kasunod ng transition o paglipat ng DSWD sa pag-gamit ng cash cards katuwang ang Landbank.

Sinabi ni Vargas na dahil online na ang distribusyon ng mga benepisyo, makabubuting gawin na ring buwanan ang pagbibigay ng pensiyon, lalo na ngayong may pandemya at higit na kailangan ng mga matatanda ng regular na ayuda mula sa pamahalaan.
