Applicants flocked to the Mega Job Fair organized by the Manila City Government and Manila Public Employment Service Office (PESO) this Friday, April 12, 2024 at QQ Mall in Quiapo.

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the country’s unemployment rate decreased in February because more job opportunities were created in the wholesale and retail trade and agriculture sector.

The national statistician added that preliminary results of the Labor Force Survey showed that the unemployment rate stood at 3.5 percent in February, down from 4.5 percent in January this year and 4.8 percent in February 2023.
