“Huwag tayong magbulag-bulagan para alam ng lahat na the reason why Kevin and Evan (Nelle) are in the top five (statistical race) it is because of everybody. You cannot have an assist if he doesn’t make a basket. Iyon ang point doon,” sabi ni first-year La Salle coach Topex Robinson.

“It is just a testament of how we are good as individuals but it is also a challenge of how will gonna make that advantage of having those players individually and their gifts to compensate or to blend well with the rest of the players,” dagdag pa niya.

“We’re not gonna get back at NU, because NU is not our competition. Our competition is ourselves,” ani Robinson, kung saan sisikapin ng La Salle na umangat sa 5-3 kartada.

“We are not gonna use the word ‘bawian natin iyan’. No it’s not. They will still gonna play their best basketball which I’m really a fan of what coach Jeff (Napa) is doing. And they will always be our worthy rivals. Their strength shows our weakness,” dagdag pa niya.

“How we are gonna work together to give NU a chance, a run for their money. They have been playing tremendous basketball, that’s gonna to help us also going down the line.” “Whether you like it or not, they will play in the Finals or in the Final Four. The opportunity for us to learn against NU is gonna be helpful for us.”
