INANUNSIYO ng Meralco Bolts ang ilang pagbabago sa kanilang coaching staff habang naghahanda sa bagong PBA season.

Sa isang statement, sinabi ng Meralco management na tinapos na ni Norman Black ang kanyang nine-year tenure bilang Meralco coach at papalitan siya ni longtime assistant coach Luigi Trillo.

Gayunman ay hindi tuluyang iiwan ni Black ang koponan dahil magsisilbi siyang team consultant.

Itinalaga rin ng Meralco si Nenad Vucinic bilang active consultant.

“I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Meralco management and the MVP group for supporting myself and the Bolts,” wika ni Black.

“In addition, I wish to thank the players and my coaching staff for their hard work and positive attitudes in their efforts to make the team successful over the years. I now look forward to helping the team in my capacity as team consultant in our continued quest to bring a championship to the Meralco franchise.”

Sa kanyang panunungkulan, ginabayan ni Black ang koponan sa bagong kataasan sa kampanya nito para sa kampeonato, nakapasok sa PBA semifinals sa 6 sa huling 7 conferences, at sumampa sa Finals sa apat na edisyon ng Governors’ Cup.
