DINE-IN RESTOS BALIK-OPS SA GCQ AREAS SIMULA HUNYO 15

PINAYAGAN na ng Inter-Agency Task Force ang muling pagbubukas ng dinein restaurants sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng general community quarantine (GCQ) simula Hunyo 15, ayon kay Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez.

Ani Lopez, ang hakbang na payagan ang mga restaurant na unti-unting mag-alok ng dinein services ay para matulungan ang mga manggagawa na makabalik sa trabaho.

“We are doing this essentially in the interest of workers so they can get back to work. We shall be doing this on a gradual basis starting at a 30 percent operating capacity,” wika ni Lopez.

“This is some kind of a preparation for the eventual de-escalation of Metro Manila and similar areas from GCQ to modified GCQ in the near future,” dagdag pa niya.

Kapag naaprubahan, ang mga restaurant sa Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zamboanga City, Davao City at ilang lungsod at lalawigan sa Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, at Central Visayas ay maaari nang magsimulang mag-alok ng dine-in services simula Hunyo 15.

Ang mga restaurant sa ibang bahagi ng bansa na nasa ilalim ng modified GCQ ay pinayagang magbalik sa operasyon sa 50 percent capacity.

“Social distancing by spacing tables 1.5 meters apart and installing acrylic or clear barriers in between customers should be done. Other health protocols, such as wearing of masks and disinfection, must also be observed,” anang kalihim.

Ang mga restaurant at fast food store ay huminto sa pagtanggap ng dine-in customers magmula noong Marso nang ipatupad ang mahigpit na quarantine measures para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Binigyang-diin ni Lopez na ang unti-unting pagbubukas ng mga establisimiyento ay makatutulong upang maibalik ng mga manggagawa at ng bansa ang mga nawala sa kanila dahil sa lockdown.

“We are really working on reopening the economy, bringing back jobs. This is the only way that we can restart the economy. It is up to the government to find that healthy balance, bringing back jobs while making sure the health protocols are complied with so we can still avert any spread and transmission of COVID-19. We don’t want to lose the gains that we have enjoyed during the GCQ,” aniya.
