LOS ANGELES – Hindi makapaglalaro si Golden State star Kevin Durant sa Game 1 ng NBA Western Conference finals ngayong araw at sinabi ni coach Steve Kerr na maaaring mawala siya sa marami pang laro ng best-of-seven series laban sa Portland Trail Blazers.
Si Durant ay nananatili sa injury list ng Warriors at ayon kay Kerr, hindi niya alam kung kailan babalik si Durant mula sa right calf strain.
“Everyone needs to slow down a little bit on the Kevin stuff,” wika ni Kerr sa team practice noong Lunes. “He hasn’t even stepped on the floor yet. We’ve tried to remain somewhat vague because the injury is open-ended in terms of how much time he will need to recover.”
“He still has pain,” aniya. “So there’s time ahead of him on the rehab process.”
Si Durant ay may average na league-best 34.2 points sa playoffs nang ma-injure sa third quar-ter ng 104-99 panalo ng Golden State laban sa Houston sa Game 5 ng kanilang second-round series noong nakaraang Miyerkoles.
