‘FEELENNIAL’ NINA AI AI DELAS ALAS AT BAYANI AGBAYANI UNEXPECTEDLY GOOD AND FUNNY

NAGULAT ang working press sa napanood nilang movie nina Ai Ai delas Alas at Bayani Agbayani na ‘Feelennial’ na co-production venture ng concert queen na si Pops Fernandez at Cignal entertainment. This early, even if the target date of showing of the movie is tomorrow, June 19,

Pops, it is being alleged, can already lay claim to the fact that the movie would turn out to be a veritable success when it opens in cinemas on the said date.

Honestly, napakaganda kasi ng pagkakagawa nang comedy movie na bida nga sina Ai Ai at Bayani Agbayani.

Puro papuri ang natanggap nito pagkatapos ng successful red-carpet premiere that was staged last Monday, June 17, at the SM Megamall Cinema.

Karamihan ng press na um-attend ay walang expectations sa movie (Feelennial) dahil hindi pa naman proven ang chemistry nina Ai Ai at Bayani sa big screen.

Suffice to say, hindi talaga inaasahan nang nakararami ang napakalakas na chemistry ng dalawa (Ai Ai at Bayani) na from the beginning up to the end ay walang katapusang tawanan ang mangyayari.

But surprisingly, the movie has some touching and moving scenes incorporated in it too, na hindi forcing through ang dating.

Magagaling ang portrayal ng anak ni Ms. Ai at niece ni Bayani sa movie.

Unfortunately, we were not able to ask who they are because we had to rush to DWIZ for our radio job.

Anyhow, apart from being good looking, natural actors ang dalawa kaya makare-relate talaga ang millennials.

Once again, Ms. Ai was able to prove in this movie that she still is the undisputed Comedy Queen of the Philippines.

Naniniwala kami na ang Feelennial ang mu­ling bubuhay sa career ni Bayani bilang movie actor dahil sa kanyang napakalakas at effective na dead-pan humor.

I’m sure na tatangkilikin ng mga tao ang pelikulang ito dahil maganda ang pagkakagawa nito ni Rechie del Carmen na relatable talaga ang mga eksena at hindi forcing through.

Debut movie niya (Rechie del Carmen) pero ang galing-galing niyang bumuo ng mga eksenang magpapatawa sa mga manonood na at the same time ay may kurot sa puso.

Pops did not commit a mistake when she took in Rechie as the movie director. She is a very good story teller and her direction is superb!

Napahusay ng pagkakalahad niya sa kuwento at talagang mapapagod ka sa katatawa sa mga eksena nina Ms. Ai at Bayani.

After the Feelennial movie, expect Rechie to be swarmed with offers from the different movie producers.

She is, admittedly, a very good replacement of the late director Wenn Deramas.
