NANANATILI ang flood alert sa Eastern Visayas at Bicol region dahil pa rin sa epekto ng pananalasa ng typhoon Bising.

Sa ulat ng Office of Ci­vil Defense (OCD) Regional Office. hindi bababa sa tatlo ang kumpirmadong namatay sa Kabisayaan at Timog Ka­tagalugan.

Kinilala ang mga nasawi na si Alberto Wales, 79-anyos ng San Isidro Villege na nadaganan ng tumumbang puno ng niyog sa St. Bernard, Southern Leyte at dalawang babae na kapwa nabagsakan din ng puno sa Polomoluk, South Cotabato at Hagonoy Davao del Sur habang may tatlong iniulat na nawawala.

Samantala, inihayag ng PAGASA, kabilang sa inaasahang makakaranas ng malalakas na ulan ang Samar at Leyte provinces, pati na ang Biliran, gayundin sa Camarines provinces, Ca­tanduanes, Albay, Masbate at Sorsogon.

Huling namataan ang sentro ng bagyo sa layong 475 km sa Silangan ng Infanta, Quezon.

Nakataas ang Signal no. 2 sa Eastern portion ng Cagayan, Eastern portion ng Isabela at Catanduanes at Signal no. 1 naman sa Batanes, natitirang bahagi ng Cagayan kasama na ang Babuyan Islands, nalalabing bahagi ng Isabela, Quirino, Apayao, eastern portion ng Kalinga, eastern portion ng Mountain Province, eastern portion ng Ifugao, northern portion ng Aurora, eastern portion ng Quezon kasama na ang Polillo Islands, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Northern Samar, northern portion ng Samar at northern portion ng Eastern Samar.

Sa ngayon, napanatili ng bagyong Bising ang lakas nito habang mabagal na kumikilos Pahilaga Hilagang-Kanluran.

Maging ang Leyte, Southern Leyte, at ang Northern portion ng Cebu kabilang ang bantayan at Camotes Islands, Dinagat Islands, Siargao Islands, at Bucas Grande Islands. VERLIN RUIZ
