MARARAMDAMAN ng publiko ang ‘full effect’ ng ‘Build Build Build’ program ng administrasyong Duterte sa 2020, ayon kay Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar.
Ginawa ni Viilar ang pahayag sa gitna ng pagbatikos sa multi-trillion-peso infrastructure program.
“There are so many projects coming on line next year… I think people will really start feeling the full effect of the work that this government has put in for the [last] two or three years,” wika ni Villar.
Aniya, nakapagpalabas na ang DPWH ng P500 billion para sa mga proyekto nito ngayong taon.
“Our disbursement for 2018 was 79%. We disbursed P509 billion in 2018 and today we dispersed P500 billion and we have two months to go,” sabi ni Villar.
Kabilang sa mga proyekto ng DPWH ang 9,000 kalsada, 2,700 tulay, 4,000 flood-control structures at 120,000 school build-ings.
“The little inconveniences that we have now, they’ll pay off in the near future. We’re going to see significant improvement,” aniya.
Nauna rito ay tinawag ni Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon ang ‘Build Build Build’ na bigo dahil siyam lamang, aniya, sa 75 original flagship programs ang nagsimula na ang konstruksiyon. PILIPINO Mirror Reportorial Team
