HINIMOK ng  Philip­pine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) ang mga guro,  staff, at mga estudyante na magpare­histro  para sa  2022 elections bago ang deadline sa Setyembre 30.

Established in 1967, PASUC comprises state universities and colleges under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Sa  PASUC Advisory No. 100, s.21, sinabi ni Prof. Tirso A. Ronquillo, PhD na: “all our SUCs are highly enjoined to encourage and support all our personnel, faculty members, and students in the registration for them to be able to vote in the May 2022 elections.”

Samantala, patuloy na umaapela si Vice President Leni Robredo sa Comelec para i-extend ang registration ng mga botante para sa 2022 national elections.

Ayon kay Robredo, naiintindihan naman niya ang pagtatakda ng deadline subalit dapat ay ikonsidera ng Comelec na nahaharap ang bansa sa extra ordinary situation dahil sa pandemya na maaaring nakaapekto sa mga nais pa sanang magparehistro.

Mas marami pa aniyang botante ang makapagpaparehistro kung i-eextend ang registration na una nang ibinasura ng Comelec at sa halip ay pinalawig na lamang ang oras ng registration at nagbukas sa mga mall ng registration areas.
