(Iginiit sa gobyerno) SUPORTA SA CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Romeo Momo Sr

Ayon kay House Committee on Public Works and Highways Senior Vice Chairman and Construction Workers Solidarity (CWS) PartyList Rep.

“This (entry of foreign construction companies) will have dire implications to local contractors, not just on the side of the business owners but to the millions of Filipino construction staff and workers as well,” mariing pahayag ng CWS partylist solon.

“Construction activities both on the side of the private and government sectors time and again are proven to be a big contributor to the country’s economy. Before the pandemic, our construction industry recorded 10.9 percent growth,” giit pa ng Surigao native lawmaker.

“(But) sadly, as we are now experiencing this national health crisis, the Philippine’s construction business is loosing over hundred billions of pesos. The government, more than now must really look after our Filipino construction firms and extend much help as they are also the key players in the effort to pump-prime our beat up economy,” dagdag pa ni Momo.
