INILABAS NG IATF PROTOCOLS SA FULLY VACCINATED

HINDI na kailangang magprisinta ang mga fully vaccinated individual ng swab test results kung nais nilang mag-travel sa loob ng Filipinas, ayon sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na sa ilalim ng bagong ‘protocols’ na nakasaad sa ilalim ng IATF-EID Resolution No. 124-5, ang fully vaccinated individuals ay kailangan na lamang iprisinta ang kanilang vaccination card para sa interzonal travel, gayundin sa intrazonal movement.

“A fully vaccinated individual is someone who has more than or equal to 2 weeks after having received the second dose in a 2-dose vaccine; or more than or equal to 2 weeks after having received a single-dose vaccine,” paliwanag ni Roque, na siya ring spokesperson ng IATF-EIDZ

Ayon pa kay Roque, nakasaad sa parehong IATF-EID resolution na ang isang fully vaccinated ay kailangang naturukan ng bakuna na kabilang sa Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) List o Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) na inisyu ng Philippine Food and Drug Administration o Emergency Use Listing ng World Health Organization (WHO).

Aniya, ang intrazonal movement ng fully vaccinated senior citizens sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng general community quarantine at modified GCQ na ipinatupad para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19 ay patuloy na papayagan.

“This, however, is subject to the presentation of a Covid-19 domestic vaccination card duly issued by a legitimate vaccinating establishment, or certificate of quarantine completion showing the holder’s vaccination status as may be issued by the Bureau of Quarantine,” sabi pa niya.

Ang intrazonal travel ay ang “movement of people, goods and services between localities under the same community quarantine classification, without transiting through an area placed under a different classification.”

Para sa interzonal travel na pinapayagan sa ilalim ng  amended “pertinent resolutions” ng IATF at provisions ng Omnibus Guidelines sa pagpapatupad ng community quarantine, sinabi ni Roque na sapat nang alternatibo ang pagpiprisinta ng vaccination card para sa anumang testing requirement na maaaring hingin ng local government ng destinasyon.

“This interzonal travel shall likewise apply to fully vaccinated senior citizens. Also, the traveler needs to undergo health and exposure screening upon arrival in the local government of destination,” ani Roque.

Ang interzonal travel ay ang “movement of people, goods and services across areas placed under different community quarantine classifications.”

Nakasaad din sa IATF Resolution No. 124-B na sa mga sitwasyon na ang fully vaccinated individuals ay close contacts ng probable at confirmed Covid-19 cases, maaari silang sumailalim sa pinaikling 7-day quarantine period kapag nanatili silang asymptomatic sa loob ng pitong araw.

“In case there is a need for [reverse transcription – polymerase chain reaction] RT-PCR testing, this may be done not earlier than the 5th day after the date of the last exposure,” nakasaad sa resolution.

“For close contacts who may have been traced beyond the 7th day from the last exposure and who remained asymptomatic, no testing and quarantine shall be required,” ayon pa sa resolution. PNA
