NAGSIMULA nang mamahagi ang Department of Agriculture (DA) sa Ilocos Region ng fuel subsidy discount cards sa mga mangingisda sa lalawigan ng Pangasinan.
Ito’y kasunod ng paglalabas ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ng clearance mula sa election spending ban.
Sa P3,000 halaga ng fuel discount cards, ang DA, sa pamamagitan ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), ay inisyal na naglabas ng kabuuang P66,000 halaga ng fuel subsidy sa 22 fisherfolks mula Lingayen at Sual, Pangasinan.
“Benefitting fisherfolk who are registered under FishR and those who are using motorized bancas 3 gross tons or below and registered under BoatR and are using legal fishing gears, the fuel subsidy is likewise intended for corn farmers who are registered in the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture or RSBSA,” ayon sa DA.
Sa Ilocos Region, ang total allocation para sa corn farmers ay P36,882,000 kung saan kabuuang 12,244 corn farmers ang mabebenepisyuhan.
Sa lalawigan ng Pangasinan ay P17,151,000 ang inilaan para sa kabuuang 5,717 corn farmers habang sa lalawigan ng La Union ay naglaan ng kabuuang P4,566,000 para sa 1,522 corn farmers.
Nasa P6,492,000 at P8,523,000 halaga ng fuel subsidy ang ipagkakaloob sa 2,164 farmers mula Ilocos Norte at 2,841 farmers mula Ilocos Sur, ayon sa pagkakasunod
“To avail of the project, corn farmers must be registered at the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture or RSBSA and encoded in the Farmers and Fisherfolk Registry System (FFRS). In getting the discount voucher, they shall show a proof of ownership of a functional machinery such as a certificate of Agricultural and Fishery Machinery and Equipment Registration from the City or Municipal LGUs, certification from the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) that he/she is the owner of the functional machine; sales/cash invoice/delivery receipt/official receipts; deed of donation/sale or memorandum of agreement with transfer of property receipt/invoice receipt.”
